Lest MC gets another snarky comment from our friend Butters about how this blog shouldn't concern itself with such ephemeral matters as fashion, let us just say that we take Robin Givhan's piece in the Washington Post as a clear sign that it is open season on the Obamas in the drive by media. Click on the title of this post to read her article. But for those, like the St. Paul half of MC, who have little time for such subjects, Givhan's last sentences say it all:
"Avoiding the appearance of queenly behavior is politically wise. But it does American culture no favors if a first lady tries so hard to be average that she winds up looking common."
